Things you can do by learning a new language
As you know, you can enjoy traveling or you can make new friends from another country. Since these are the big motivations when you learning a new language, we asked “what is the thing you could do and what is your motivation of learning English?” to Japanese high school students.
The answers
- I could communicate and exchange our ideas with people from different countries.
- I could get new informations that you cannot get from Japan.
- I could get real voices from local and could know more about there that you cannot learn from a text book.
- I could broaden my dream. For example, study fashion in France, study business in America, learn how to cook in Italy and so on.
- I could make a lot of friends from different countries.
- I could feel the culture of other country.
